Birthdays are always fun at our house. My birthday was on a Sunday this year, so we just stayed home.
This is the chair the birthday person always sits in to open presents.
They bought me some new hiking shoes.
Kaitlin wrote some cute clues for a treasure hunt to find a couple of my presents.
Each clue had an action we had to do, to get to the next place. We are slithering like a snake, here.
I got a new shirt for running.

One of Kaitlin's clues. In the basement there was a new frying pan. I had a great day. Later that evening, my mother-in-law had us over for dinner so I wouldn't have to make dinner on my birthday. That was great.
