We wanted to light a fire in the fireplace before it got too warm, so we did one evening. It felt really good to lay in front of it and feel the heat. Kaitlin wondered where the switch was to turn it on.
Grandpa Mumford came from Portland to visit, so we got a picture of him with Michelle before he left. I tried to get him to look at the camera, but decided this was cuter with him playing with the baby.
Heather lost her first tooth. She was going to the dentist that day, and Dave happened to come home from lunch. Heather told him she was going to let the dentist pull it out, so Dave suggested they do it right then. She let Dave pull it. She wouldn't let the tooth fairy take it until the next day, because she wanted to take it to school and show her class. Her teacher gave her a sticker that said, "I lost a tooth" and a little tooth necklace to keep her tooth in.
