This morning, after a great breakfast, it was time to check out of our campsite. So, we took down all of our tents, and loaded up the van.
Heather and Michelle had fun playing with dandelions.
After we left Yellowstone, we headed to Jackson, Wyoming. It was a beautiful drive. The Teton Mountains are amazing. We had never been able to find a moose in Yellowstone, but Jared spotted one on our way to Jackson. We were still able to cross off moose on our animal paper.
We stopped for lunch on our way to Jackson. We loved the Teton Mountains in the background.
There was a stream by the picnic spot we stopped at to eat lunch. The kids played in the water for a little while.
We ate lunchables for lunch.
Dave was showing the kids how to skip rocks on the water. He's really good at it.
When we arrived at our hotel in Jackson, everyone was dirty from camping, so we all took baths and changed into clean clothes.
We stayed at the Cache Creek Lodge.
Some actors from a play were putting on a little show in the town square. We went to watch.
We really wanted to get a family picture taken here by all of the antlers in Jackson's town square, because almost exactly 17 years ago, Dave and I took a picture in the same place. Our family has changed a lot since then.
For dinner, we went to a steak house and had steak dinner. We don't do that very often because it is so expensive. It was delicious. Everyone loved it.
