Daddy/Daughter Backpacking Trip

Our ward held a Daddy/Daughter Backpacking trip this summer.  Dave sort of ended up in charge of it.  They chose a short hike in the Uintah Mountains.  Heather and Kaitlin went with Dave.

 There were four families from the ward that ended up going.  Shelby and Kiki Startup pose with Kaitlin and Heather in the pictures.

 There was a lot of beautiful scenery.

 It did rain some, so they did get wet.  But, they came prepared.

 They even caught some fish.

When Kaitlin was 4 years old, we went camping in the Uintahs and found this "K" tree.  On the way back from the backpacking trip, they tried to find the same tree.  They think it might be this one that Kaitlin is standing in front of.  It looks like it lost part of it's trunk.

On the way home from the backpacking trip, Dave, Kaitlin, and Heather stopped and ate lunch at this cool diner.
