Jared went to scout camp this year as an 11-year- old and came back as a 12-year-old. He was able to celebrate his 12th birthday while he was there. Our scout troop went to Camp Loll this year which is up by Yellowstone National Park. Jared loved every minute of it.

This is just an example of some of the weird pictures Jared took. They were trying to take pictures looking up someone's nose.
This is called the Polar Bear. The boys get a special award if they sit in this water fall for a certain amount of time. Sounds easy, huh? Well, this particular water fall is fed from a glacier. In other words, the water is VERY cold. Jared did it, though.
Beautiful scenery. They spent a lot of time in the water swimming and cannoeing.

Jared on a hike. Camp Loll was a great experience for him. His Dad told him to try and get 6 merit badges while he was there, so he made sure that he even got more than that.
