The paper boat

Jared has really been into origamy lately. He looks at books and the internet for ideas. Building a boat from paper, however, came from his Dad. Dave is always making paper boats. Small ones, that is. Jared had bigger ideas. He brought home his workbook from school that he no longer needed. At first he wanted to burn it in the fire pit, but then decided to make a paper boat out of it. Out of 100 pages from his workbook, Jared and helpers decided to make a big paper boat. They taped all of the papers together (and used almost all of the tape I had in my house).

Then they proceeded to fold it. And fold it. And fold it. Kaitlin and Jared used it for a hat first. Then it became Princess Michelle's boat. Jared still has more workbooks from his classmates that he can burn in the fire pit.
