4th of July
Dave started out his 4th of July by getting up early to mow the empty lots behind our house. Kaitlin and I started our 4th of July out by participating in the Kaysville City 5K. It was a great start for the day.
The Kaysville parade is always a lot of fun. We set out our blanket the day before to save a spot for us.
Luke, Michelle, Dave, Grandpa and Grandma Mitchell, Mike, Grace, Becca, Stephen, Heather, Jared, and Kaitlin are all ready for the parade to begin.
Kathleen, Zak, and Zoe joined us.
What a cute bunch.
Luke is the best entertainment of all. He is dancing in the street.
My niece, Sydney marching by with the D-ettes. (She's the tall skinny girl in the middle).
Michelle thinks this is fun. Check out Heather's bag to put her candy in. We forgot to bring bags, so she is using a bag from one of our chairs.
The black powder rifles help start out the parade. This is my cousin Kristine, my Uncle Gregg, and my cousin-in-law, Ryan.
Kaitlin thinks this is fun, too.
Zak and Jared are looking at something. You can see what Jared is using to put his candy in. It's the camera case.
Now Dave and Mike get in on the action. Zurchers is throwing out red, white, and blue necklaces. Dave catches one.
Dave also caught a tie.
