Easter treats
For an Easter treat, we usually make sugar cookies. This year, Heather saw these rice krispy eggs on TV and in a magazine and really wanted to make them. So, we made rice krispy eggs instead of sugar cookies this year. Heather and Luke helped dump in the ingredients and stir them.
Michelle helped supervise.
We sprayed plastic eggs with no-stick spray. Then, I filled the eggs with the rice krispy mixture, and Luke, Heather, and Michelle pushed it in the egg and made a little indent in the middle.
Michelle didn't really like her fingers all sticky.
After we put the rice krispy mixture into the eggs, we put minature M&Ms in the middle. This could be a nest with eggs in it. But, we made them into a big egg. We took two halfs and put them together to form an egg.
We also made one rice krispy treat bear.
This is the only thing Jared helped with. He helped eat the M&Ms.
When the eggs were done, you could shake the eggs and hear the M&Ms rattling inside.
