This Friday night and Saturday morning, we went camping at Pineview Reservoir with about 8 other families in our ward. It was a lot of fun.
When we pulled into the campground, Jared said, "This isn't camping". They had grass everywhere, paved roads, picnic tables, and everything. It was kind of nice to camp somewhere like that for a change.

Dinner. We barbequed hamburgers. After dinner we made s'mores with some of the other families.

Jared was the last one up. We slept in tents instead of taking the trailer.

Saturday morning, we went down to the beach. It was a lot of fun. Dave's trying to spray me here. He didn't dare push his luck too far.

We took the squirters that Tracie got at the dollar store. They were a big hit. Not just for our family, but for all the kids that were there. They had a great time.

We didn't go camping at all this year. Maybe next year. I'm glad they are getting good use out of the squirters
I know what you mean about trying to get your turn at the computer, but yeah...the kids went back today! Isn't it just like one of Dave's kids to say, "This isn't camping"? Looks like you took advantage of the last days of summer. I can't believe you gave Jared a gun. Clearly he isn't like my boys. :)
