I updated a few pictures onto the wrong blog. So, if you would like to check them out, click on my link to Home Cookin'. You will find them there. But, now I'm on the right blog, so here goes. Luke turned 5 years old. I can't believe it. Here are some fun pictures of his birthday.
Opening presents is always so much fun. We wait until the evening to open them, so the kids are always really excited by that time of the day.

Luke's race car birthday cake. My Mom gave me a book of kids birthday cakes, and it has been great. The kids love to look through it and choose the cake they want. Luke chose this one.
Eating cake and ice cream.
This is the first year Luke got a friend birthday party. He was excited.
The balloons we gave to all of the kids that came to the party. His cousins, Jake, Ethan, and Kevin would have been able to come, but they got the flu. Luke was sad.
All of the party friends. Kaitlin is a great party planner, by the way. She took care of all of the games and entertained the kids. She was wonderful.
We decorated sugar cookies at the party. Great way to take up time.

Luke was the king at preschool on his birthday. The king gets to be the leader for the day. Happy Birthday, Luke. We love you!

Luke is the bomb. He was a good kid when he stayed over when you guys were on vacation. Feel free to leave him (or any of your other kids) when you two go out again. They're great kids and get along well.
