Jared's birthday was today. He turned 9 years old. Because his birthday was on Sunday, we did something last night to celebrate. We took the Front Runner (which is the new trax train that goes from Ogden to Salt Lake) to Salt Lake. We got on in Layton. None of us had ever rode it, so we were all excited. Here are the kids waiting for the train.

After getting off the Front Runner, we took Trax a few blocks to the Gateway. The kids had fun playing in the fountains for a little while.

We spent some time in the arcade and played some games. Kailtin and Heather are doing a game where they try to copy the dance moves. They were really into it.

Dinner at the food court. Everyone got to choose which place they wanted to get dinner from. Of course, with all the choices, three kids still picked McDonalds.
