Kaitlin turned 13 years old. I can't believe it.
She's excited to open some presents. She got a book (Fablehaven 5), some pez candies (She loves those), a new pair of head phones for her i-pod, a DVD that had 4 movies on it, and an i-pod dock station (She is saving up for an i-pod to go on that dock station. Right now she only has an i-pod shuffle).
Birthday balloons. You are never too old for those.
For dinner, Kaitlin wanted to go to the Old Spaghetti Factory in Salt Lake. You can tell our kids don't get out much, because here they are looking out the windows of the walkway that goes across the street connecting Trolley Square and the parking lot. They thought that was pretty exciting. Especially Michelle.

Kaitlin wanted an ice cream cake from Dairy Queen for her birthday cake, so that is what we did. Yummy, yummy!

Happy birthday Kaitlin! I haven't been to the Spaghetti Factory in like 20 years. Looks like she had a great day.
