Well, it's time to remodel again. We have been attacking the basement, which means we need to move everything out of the basement. We have TOO many toys. We tried to go through them, but our kids would not get rid of much. (Next time I need to go through them when they are not home). So, the toys we kept all got moved upstairs. We rearranged bedrooms to make everything fit.
We set up the girls bunkbeds again.
We bought bunkbeds for the boys. Yes, after three years of sleeping on a mattress on the floor, Luke finally has a bed.
I forgot to take a picture of Michelle's bedroom, but we moved Jared's old bed in there as well as lots of toys. Now we need to get a mattress for Jared's old bed. Michelle is still in the crib. She doesn't climb out of it yet, so I'm happy with her being trapped for a little bit longer.
We removed the bottom part of the sheetrock in the basement where there has been flooding. We found mold and got rid of it. We had to replace the insulation and disinfect all the wood. Dave also scraped off all the linoleum tile places on the floor. A lot of them were chipping and coming up anyway. We will put some other floor covering down. We are thinking of what they call fiber board. It's similar to linoleum, but it's resistant to moisture. Just in case we ever do have any more flooding. We think we fixed the flooding problem, too.

And, of course, more wall paper to remove. Thank heavens there is not as much in the basement as there was upstairs.
The fixed walls after getting rid of the mold. The picture doesn't show it very well, but Dave also framed around the windows. We replaced the windows when we first moved into the house. We have noticed a lot less spiders. We will keep posting pictures of the progress.

Wow, you guys are busy bugs! It will be great to get it all done though, and it will look as good as the upstairs!

Wow, that is a lot of work!! We have the same shade of purple girl rooms, and blue boys rooms! (Our blue boy room is Bryant's office.)
