Jared had a basketball game tonight.
In the middle of the first quarter, one of the basketball hoops that were raised, shattered. It was up too high for anything to have hit it, so it must have been cracked already, and just gave way.
Here is some of the glass from the shattered basket ball hoop. The chairs you can see are where the boys sit when it is not their turn to play. Luckily, Jared's team had a time out, so they were all on the floor in a huddle. The other team sitting on the other side was not so fortunate. There were two boys that got hit. They might need some stitches, but nothing too serious. It could have been a whole lot worse. They were big, thick pieces of glass. Both games got cancelled, and everyone went home. It would have taken them the whole game time to clean up the mess. We feel very blessed that Jared or any of the other boys did not get hurt.
