My Grandpa turned 85 years old on August 9th. He has 5 daughters, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. It was fun to get together with many of those people. We met at Grandpa's house in Salt Lake City for a pot luck dinner.

Jared's birthday happened to be a few days after this party, so while my Mom and Dad were in town for the party, they gave Jared his birthday present. He turned 12 this year, and it is my Dad's tradition to give the boys a nice pocket knife when they turn 12. Jared loves it.
